RISE is constantly looking for talented visual effects artists and administrative staff. If you are interrested in working for us, please send us your resume and latest demo reel. Should you be wondering what we use to do what we do: RISE was the first feature film visual effects company in Germany to use The Foundry's Nuke as primary compositing application, Combustion and Silhouette are still used for rotoscoping and paint work. Our main 3D packages are Autodesk Maya and SideFX Houdini with MentalRay, V-Ray and Mantra rendering those pretty pixels. And because we tend to be bored quickly we also use Photoshop, Mari, Hiero, Mudbox, ZBrush, Topogun, Geomagic Wrap, PFTrack, SynthEyes and many, many propriatary RISE tools that we developed ourselves over the last years.

required skills:

  • expert knowledge in lighting/shading/rendering, modeling, texturing
  • minimum 5 years maya experience
  • basic knowledge with houdini and mari
  • the ability to organize yourself and a team / team leading experience
