Der kalte Himmel

Synopsis

1967 – a small village in Bavaria. A mother struggles with her very intelligent but quiet son. As for the village community he is an odd person, for the superstitious grandmother a demoniac and for his father a problem, which he is convinced to solve with a referral into a school for mentally handicapped children. No one seems to know what is “wrong” with him. Niklas Cromer, a child psychiatrist is the only one, who analyses Felix behavior. The psychiatrist is confident in his diagnoses: Autism.
